Thermally reused solar energy harvesting using current mirror cells

This paper implements a simultaneous solar and thermal energy harvesting system, as hybrid (HEH) to convert ambient light into electrical through photovoltaic (PV) cells heat absorbed in the body of PV cells. Indeed, panel equipped with serially connected thermoelectric generators not only converts incoming electricity but also takes advantage emanating from light. In conventional HEH diode block is used provide path for input source highest value. this scheme, at each time, one can be handled generate its output, while other sources are blocked. To handle challenge combining resources systems, proposes method collecting all energies conveying summation load via current mirror an approach similar maximum power point tracking. technique implemented using off-the-shelf components. The measurement results show that proposed realistic supplying wireless sensor nodes low-power electronics.
